So, I was going through the pictures from my pin hole camera...to show Hubby how lame I am. And as I'm sifting through the '3' that I thought I had, I noticed a FOURTH! And it's actually pretty cool!!
(in case it's not as obvious to those who weren't there when I took the picture, it's my clarinet...)
But now I am thinking that all the pictures I thought were OVER-exposed, may have been UNDER-exposed...which means the whole roll I just shot could be another whole roll of nothing! Ugh! I hope I can get this thing under control! :)
I really like the subtle quality to the picture. :)
ReplyDeleteI love this shot. I know I saw it in person, but love it here as well.
ReplyDeleteWhy won't my clarinet arrive already! Yargh! We need to get ta' practicin'.
"Boog! Get of da dang rooof!"
How appropriate that it's your clarinet; the picture has a real bluesy quality to it. I can just see a room filled with that velvety, deep violet light, feathers of cigarette and cigar smoke wafting through the air. Then, there's the spotlight. It rests on a plain, wooden stool half-supporting a beautiful, young woman in a simple pair of black peddle-pushers, subtly seductive gauzy top and black beret perched atop her slick-back ponytail. In her hands is the clarinet.
ReplyDeleteCan you see it, too?
That's quite a picture you've painted, Renee!
ReplyDeleteYes! I knew if you went through the negs of your first roll(s) you might find something! I have in the past when this has happened to me. My scanner and Photoshop have recovered many a "lost neg" for me. Keep at it...it's worth it!!
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about dusting off the ol' brain and getting back into my writing... :P
